St. Augustine Place of Safety

Chapelton, Clarendon

St. Augustine's Place of Safety, established in the 1940s, is home to about 50 boys between ages eight and 18. It is an official residence or temporary place of safety for boys awaiting court decisions and others with special needs. It's also a transitional home for those who are aging out of care and have no parents or guardians.
