This residential child care institution is owned and operated by the Sisters of Mercy, a Catholic order of Nuns committed to working with the poor, sick and uneducated. The facility sits on a 32-acre property in Hatfield, Manchester and is home to some 150 boys between the ages of three and 16. St. John Bosco operates a complete school programme with classes from Kindergarten through Grade 5, which incorporates the Adolescent Development Program which prepares the youngsters for trade training and life in the community.
